AC90 Armoured Cable (BX) – Cut to Length

Need armoured cable for a basement, garage or small renovation but not a whole roll? We cut AC90 (often called BX) to the length you choose, from 5 m up to 70 m in 5 m steps, so you pay only for what the job needs.

Choose your size

  • AC90 14/2 – lighting and receptacle circuits on 15 A breakers (from $10 per 5 m)
  • AC90 14/3 – three-way switching and split receptacles (from $14 per 5 m)
  • AC90 14/4 – multi-wire and multi-switch runs (from $17 per 5 m)
  • AC90 12/2 – 20 A circuits such as kitchen counters and workshops (from $13.87 per 5 m)

Every cable has copper conductors with a bare bonding conductor inside interlocked aluminium armour, built to CSA C22.2 No. 51 and rated 90 °C. AC90 is for dry locations, exposed or concealed, where code allows armoured cable.

Not sure how much to order? Measure the full run, add extra for box entries and routing, then round up to the next 5 m. All sales are final, so please double-check your length before you order. Always confirm circuit sizing with the Canadian Electrical Code or a licensed electrician.
